Virtues
There are many different kinds of virtues, but the ones I was assigned as my task to learn and understand and self examine, are these:
* Empathy for others
* Desire to learn
* Concern for safety
* Honesty and integrity
* Investment in the community
* Sense of humor and an willingness to laugh at oneself
* Flexibility
* Listening and communication skills
* Self knowledge
As I went over these it definitely became a self examining process for my pride, my ego steps in and says, "You know these things Gwendolyn.. why waste the time." ~pats ego on the head~ Silly ego pride is for vanilla's. And yes, I like Trix cereal. ~winks~
~Am I empathetic to others needs? It is so hard to say that on many occasions I have not. I was on a path of survival, having to fight for the things I needed and it didn't matter how I got them.
